Gravesham Life Saving Club

Water’s all around us.

Kent, alone, has 250 nautical miles of coastline; five main rivers fed by 16 smaller tributaries; 27 designated bathing waters; and numerous lakes, reservoirs, quarries, and ditches.

Water’s in all our homes - in ponds, pools, cisterns, appliances, sinks, and baths.

And every town has at least one public pool.

So, with this much around, what are the odds that you’ll find yourself at the centre of a water-based emergency? Could you save another person’s life? Could you save yourself? How good is your first aid knowledge?

For more than 30 years, Gravesham Life Saving Club has been teaching essential survival skills. Our volunteer team of instructors is trained to the exacting standards of world-class charities like the Royal Life Saving Society and the British Heart Foundation.

We might be surrounded by water, but that shouldn’t mean we’re out of our depth.

Life’s worth saving, so why don’t you join us?
