Volunteering

People volunteer for all sorts of reason’s, maybe to put something back into grassroots sport, maybe to help people compete, or to assist with gaining their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Whatever the reason, Gravesham Life Saving Club is run by it’s members, for it’s members, and we are all volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to assist with the running of the club, or delivering some of our sessions at the pool, usually an hour or so each week, please get in touch with Andy Griggs at GraveshamLSC@hotmail.com.

Vacancies currently exist for:

Community Instructor – If you would like to help out with the Save a Life Series of workshops, attendance at this course will give you the skills and knowledge to deliver these sessions.

The award provides a soft introduction to the skills of leadership, which can be used in every aspect of Lifesaving, as well as in the candidate’s personal lives. The Award is aimed at young people aged 12 years or over and presents a great opportunity for them to develop fundamental leadership skills in a safe, familiar environment alongside a qualified trainer.
